Building on my technical foundation from the Blender Basics course, I completed an advanced Animation Course focused on the artistic and performance-driven aspects of animation. While the previous course strengthened my workflow and technical efficiency, this course shifted the focus toward developing strong animation principles and visual storytelling.

Throughout the course, I explored the 12 principles of animation and applied them in practical exercises, including the creation of a convincing walk cycle. I studied timing, spacing, weight, and body mechanics to achieve more believable and expressive movement. In addition, I worked intensively on facial expressions and emotional clarity, refining my understanding of facial appeal and character performance.

The course also emphasized composition and staging, helping me create clearer, more engaging shots that effectively communicate mood and intention. Overall, this experience significantly deepened my understanding of animation as an art form, allowing me to combine technical knowledge with strong artistic decision-making and character-driven storytelling.
