I am Marvin, a 3D artist focusing on hard-surface and organic modeling — from concept to implementation.
Since March 2023, I’ve been diving deep into the world of 3D design — starting out with Blender and gradually expanding my toolkit with software like Photoshop and Substance Painter.
What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion: 3D modeling, animation, sculpting, and telling visual stories through digital worlds.
In my portfolio, you’ll find a selection of my work so far — from early hard-surface objects to complex character models.
Character modeling and sculpting fascinate me the most, and I’m constantly working on expanding my skills.
In Fall 2023, I had the chance to collaborate with Wurmory Studios on 3D graphics and a trailer for a Kickstarter board game — a valuable team experience and my first real insight into the game industry.
I’m excited to share my journey as a 3D artist with you here.

My Games
Here are some games I have created throughout my creative career – from early semester projects to more complex games created in Unreal Engine.
The Cabin [2025]
This project is my first completed game with Unreal Engine.
It tells a short, mysterious story set in a quiet forest and an old wooden cabin. The atmosphere shifts between curiosity and unease as the player explores and uncovers small narrative elements hidden in the environment.
Creating this project was a huge learning experience for me. Along the way, I faced challenges with performance optimization, Blueprint scripting, UI design and video and sound integration inside the engine. I also experimented a lot with lighting and atmosphere to achieve the deep blue nighttime look that defines the scene.

Der Überfall [2024]
„Der Überfall“ is a classic text adventure developed with Adventuron that puts you in the role of a traveling merchant who is ambushed by greedy bandits on his journey. Without weapons, without allies, and with hardly any time to think, you must rely solely on your wits.
This game was created as part of a semester project in the „Introduction to Game Design“ module. The goal was to develop an original text adventure using Adventuron, incorporating game design principles and gaining first programming experience. The game, „Der Überfall“ is the result of this learning process: an experimental, atmospheric project that blends storytelling, player choice, and classic parser gameplay.

Game Jam Experience

By regularly taking part in game jams, I’ve not only gained hands-on experience, but also built valuable skills in teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving.
Description of the game
Tiny alien beings, each the size of an insect, have become stranded on Earth. Because Earth’s air is deadly to them, they must remain close to their space station – a bubble-like dome. However, these aliens, also known as Cillis, must leave the safety of their station to gather resources needed to get the propulsion system of their bubble-like station up and running again.
When the Cillis venture out, they take a portion of the base bubble with them, which serves as a helmet and shields them from Earth’s air. But beware! The base bubble shrinks each time they take a portion of it, and the helmet is in limited supply!
On their quest for resources, the Cillis must overcome various obstacles and threats, such as gigantic puddles or aggressive stink bugs.
